Keeping Your Pet's Smile Healthy

At Town and Country Animal Clinic, we understand that a healthy smile means a healthier pet. Discover why dental care is crucial for your companion's overall well-being and how our expert team can help.

The Importance of Oral Health

Your pet's oral health is directly correlated to their overall well-being and can have a significant impact on their quality of life. That is why it is important that their teeth and gums are checked during their annual visits! Neglecting dental hygiene can lead to painful infections, gum disease, and even systemic health issues.

Overall Well-Being

A healthy mouth contributes to a happier, more energetic pet. Good oral hygiene helps prevent pain and discomfort.

Preventative Health

Regular dental check-ups can prevent serious health issues, including heart and kidney disease, linked to poor oral health.

Early Detection

Annual dental exams allow us to catch potential problems early, ensuring prompt and effective treatment.

Our Comprehensive Dental Services

We provide pets with routine dental cleanings, scaling, polishing, and routine extractions if needed under sedation. Dental cleanings are performed using an ultrasonic scaler for the most effective results, ensuring your pet's comfort and optimal oral health.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Having your pet's teeth cleaned annually can help protect their overall health as well as cue your veterinarian into other health concerns. During your visit, we will conduct a thorough examination of your pet's oral cavity.  Then they will clean the teeth by scaling any tarter or plaque off the tooth's surface.  They will next polish the teeth to prevent future plaque buildup.   For more complex cases we refer clients to a board certified Oral Surgeon who can perform any serious procedures that your pet may require.  Our team ensures a smooth and stress-free experience for both you and your beloved companion.
